Parish Update: Looking Forward

We are now looking forward to becoming once more a single parish in West Cheltenham.
This means that our Team Vicars, Rob Crofton and Philip Smith, are facing the challenge
of finding the next step for them and their families.
We must pray for them and take every opportunity to encourage them through what will inevitably be difficult times.
We are also moving towards a new clergy leadership team. The Archdeacon of Cheltenham, Phil Andrew, will be joining PCC on 16 October to go through the process of appointing a new Rector.
In the meantime we are working at a Parish Profile, the document that we will be using to attract and inform potential candidates. We are on the journey and I would like to encourage all of us to pray that the work of God’s Kingdom may go forward.
At times of change like this one it is tempting to become inward-looking. We have good news for our community; we exist for the Lord and for others.
